Sometimes I feel alone
Wondering if you care
About the feelings locked inside
Not knowing that they're there

Why can't you just try?
To look deeper than the skin
There is something you may find
A treasure held within

A treasure filled, not with lead,
Silver or with gold
But a treasure filled with love
Something worth to hold

I try so hard sometimes
Trying to just fit in
But then I begin to realize
That I'll probably never win

But if you just give it a second glance
And maybe then you'll see
That there is more behind the lock
If you only turn the key
